rebecca marrache

About the artist.

Rebecca Marrache was trained in graphic design in Paris before settling in Israel. For over six years, writing has occupied a central place in her artistic journey. She writes as one lays things down: to release emotion, and to explore identity, relationships, and memory through a sensitive, emotionally driven form of writing.

Her work is deeply influenced by the concept of Nechama - the soul - understood as the essence of being and the core of human experience. This reflection, nourished in particular by the study of the Tanya by Rabbi Chneor Zalman, runs through her texts and shapes her artistic universe.

Her writings seek repair by returning to the origin and reconnecting with the primary source.

Through this exhibition, she presents excerpts from a first collection in progress, “The Soul at the Heart of Emotion”. A form of writing shaped by pauses, fractures, and renewals, where even within collapse a possibility of light remains - unfolding over the course of the exhibition.
