About the artist.

Noa Gosley (b. 1999, Bordeaux, France) lives and works in Israel.

Her practice centers on abstract painting, working with oil paint and oil pastel on fabric at varying scales. Alongside painting, she explores embroidery as part of an ongoing investigation into material language and the dialogue between different mediums.

Her work draws from everyday life, interwoven with memories from her childhood in France before immigrating to Israel. The dissonance between those early memories and her present reality in Israel has shaped a distinct perspective. Fragmented recollections and personal experiences — often marked by a sense of otherness — form the core of her artistic process, as she seeks to merge memory and lived experience into a unified visual language.
