A DUAL MOVEMENT.
FROM INTERIOR SILENCE TO COLLECTIVE RHYTHM.
A TEMPORARY STATE OF ALIGNMENT

ELEVATION

Still.
The room breathes.

IMMERSION

The pulse expands.
Movement takes over.

AMID(A) RHYTHM

A title with a dual connotation: on one hand, a repetition at regular intervals of a natural or societal phenomenon, or, in a more exalted way, musical and human sounds, of varying intensity, carrying human movement in all its forms; on the other, the rhythm of the Amida prayer, recited standing in a low voice toward Jerusalem, allowing for a spiritual connection to the service of the heart.

These two aspects, a priori antinomic, interpose themselves in a complementary way within a daily life shaped by multiple facets and moments.

The event AMID(A) RHYTHM seeks to reflect this shifting human condition through an immersive exhibition by the artist Paul Rozenboim, at the heart of the lounge club of the Aria, gradually transforming into a nightclub driven by the sets of DJs ÄNO and Nachum. In this prolongation, the experience offers a spiritual ascent to the upper floor, where works by contemporary artists are exhibited, accompanied by a DJ set by Sacha Dahan.

The artist Shai Azoulay perfectly illustrates this spiritual ascent toward a collective and sacred dimension. A deep night blue enveloping, a crescent moon, a group of men praying in that direction, and one of the works faithfully representing this elevation. Gilles Marcel Moore, through his landscapes of Jerusalem and Jaffa, articulates a suspended, almost spiritual vision of place, where the visible is held in a state of quiet elevation. The artist Anna Muravich illustrates this contrast between the emergence of beings coming from the depths of the earth and the collective movement of abstract human figures. Ubab imposes his almost oneiric in-between world, carried by a spiritual narration and a work of memory, through works integrating paintings, objects, and distinctive signs. Dekel Harari, through the use of newspaper and striking headlines, recalls this omnipresent reality, marked by instability, frictions and uncertainties, while letting hover, through his figurative painting, a shadow of light and hope. llya Gefter evokes the fullness of a soothing sunset, the happiness of a girl and a father in motion. Arik Weiss offers a spiritual elevation through his bronze sculptures. Noam Amar offers a moment of sharing and embrace through his sculpture Lovers, where bodies meet in a tension that is both intimate and universal. Chanel Sonego shares her Sephardic and religious heritage through sacred and familial figures.

AMID(A) RHYTHM unfolds as a space of tension between movement and interiority. Between collective pulsation and silent elevation, the event sketches a trajectory: that of a humanity in search of alignment, at the very heart of its agitation.
