Jenna Loubens

About the artist.

Self-taught artist born in 1990, Jenna Loubens lives and works in Tel Aviv.

She grew up in Paris in a family of artists and interior architects. Writing became her first language at an early age. After studying modern literature at the Sorbonne and completing a master’s degree in communication, her understanding of letters deepened, enriched by philosophical teachings that question our relationship to life.

She lived several years in Berlin, where the underground music scene, street art and vintage clothing shaped her sensibility and strengthened her will to create beyond trends.

Her journey then took her to Los Angeles, where she became art director for an initiative combining culture and social impact. This experience reinforced her conviction that creation is a tool for transformation. Over time, her practice expanded to visual arts and design.

In 2022, together with her brother Jonathan Loubens, she founded Loulou, a creative space in the heart of Tel Aviv bringing together an art gallery, an interior architecture studio and an artists’ collective.

Today, her practice revolves around painting, in dialogue with textile, design and other disciplines, in a constant movement of experimentation and transformation.
