AVIV ATIAS

About the artist.

Aviv Atias born at 1992 is a ceramic designer and graduate of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (2024), specializing in ceramic design and pottery. He is the recipient of the Yitzhak and Eva Alper Memorial Award.

His design practice is rooted in an in-depth exploration of clay, through which he has developed a distinctive technique inspired by childhood memories and the surrounding environment. His work examines the intersection of form, texture, and functionality, creating a dialogue between traditional ceramic techniques and contemporary design approaches.

Through this process, Atias offers a fresh perspective on objects within both private and public spaces, exploring the ways in which material, memory, and everyday functionality can come together to create new forms of expression.
