About the artist.

Almog Sharir (b.1999 in Atlit, Israël) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tel Aviv and a 2025 graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (BFA).

Her practice is situated at the intersection of video, installation, new media, sound, and painting. Sharir explores the relationship between light and painted surfaces, creating immersive environments that invite the audience to be a part of the work.

Her work has been presented in group exhibitions at BY5 Gallery (Tel Aviv), Clore Gallery (Bezalel, Jerusalem), and Hamiffal Gallery (Jerusalem), including exhibitions following residency programs.

Her notable achievements include the 2025 Efrat Family Studio Award for Bezalel graduates and the 2023 Award for Academic Excellence.
